NextRep wasn't designed in a boardroom or a university lab. It was built by people who lived the ending — and had to figure out what came next without a map.
The Origin
Every framework starts with a moment.
For most high performers, identity is inseparable from the role. The athlete is the sport. The soldier is the mission. The executive is the company. That's not a flaw — it's how elite performance works. You give everything to the thing, and the thing gives you back a sense of who you are.
But what happens when the thing ends?
NextRep was born out of that question — asked honestly, without the usual performance-coaching spin. Not "how do you get back to peak performance?" but "who are you when the performance is over?" That's a different question. It requires a different kind of work.
We built the Identity · Resilience · Legacy framework because the tools that exist for transition — career coaching, executive coaching, veteran services — weren't built for the depth of what's actually happening. They treat the surface. We go underneath.
The Approach
We don't sell the rise before we sit with the loss.
Most coaching programs skip the hard part. They acknowledge the transition in a sentence and then pivot to goal-setting, networking, and personal branding. NextRep doesn't do that. We believe the work of rebuilding identity has to start with an honest accounting of what was lost — and what it meant. Only then can you build something that lasts.

Carrie Yun Arredondo
Founder & CEO, NextRep
Most people see the success. Few see the survival.
Carrie Yun Arredondo founded NextRep after a lifetime of overcoming adversity. Adopted from South Korea at the age of three, she experienced childhood trauma and challenges that shaped her resilience and fueled her mission to create opportunities for others.
Today, Carrie is an accomplished executive, strategist, and doctoral researcher who has supported organizations across government, commercial, and international sectors. Her work centers on leadership, culture, behavioral development, and helping individuals unlock their highest potential.
She founded NextRep on one belief: athletes, veterans, and high performers have the discipline, resilience, and leadership to thrive far beyond the roles that once defined them — they simply deserve the opportunity and support to do so.
Through NextRep, Carrie is building a community where identity becomes purpose, resilience becomes legacy, and every next chapter is an opportunity to lead.

Keionta Davis
Identity | Physical & Mental Wellness | Sports Management
Former New England Patriots defensive lineman and Super Bowl LIII Champion, Keionta Davis leads Identity at NextRep while also supporting Physical & Mental Wellness and Sports Management. Drawing from his journey as a professional athlete, he helps individuals build an identity beyond their title, recognizing that true success begins with understanding who you are beyond the game. His focus includes identity, physical conditioning, injury prevention, recovery, nutrition, mental wellness, stress management, athlete transition, and sports management.
Keionta earned his Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he was a standout defensive end and two-time FCS All-American. He was named the 2016 Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year, finished his collegiate career with 31 career sacks (second-most in school history), and participated in the 2017 Reese's Senior Bowl before signing with the New England Patriots. He is currently pursuing a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University, further strengthening his expertise in sports leadership, business, and organizational management.
Chris Streveler
Resilience | High-Pressure Leadership & Decision-Making
Professional quarterback Chris Streveler has competed for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL), Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets. At NextRep, he leads Resilience, sharing lessons from competing at the highest levels of professional football. His expertise centers on overcoming adversity, adapting to change, leading under pressure, and making effective decisions in high-stakes environments where preparation, perseverance, and resilience define success.
Chris transferred to the University of South Dakota, where he emerged as one of the nation's top FCS quarterbacks. In just two seasons, he threw for 6,081 passing yards and 54 touchdowns, earned 2017 Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors, was named a First-Team FCS All-American, and finished as the runner-up for the Walter Payton Award, recognizing the top offensive player in FCS football.
Tony Simmons
Legacy | Career Development
Former NFL wide receiver Tony Simmons, who played for the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, and Indianapolis Colts, leads Legacy at NextRep while supporting Career Development. He helps athletes and professionals create lasting impact beyond their careers by focusing on purposeful leadership, workforce readiness, career strategy, mentorship, financial awareness, and building generational legacies that extend far beyond the game.
Tony "Touchdown" Simmons attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he established himself as one of the program's most dynamic playmakers. A standout in both football and track & field, he left Wisconsin as the school's all-time leader in touchdown receptions with 23 career receiving touchdowns, earned the nickname "Touchdown Tony," and was a Big Ten champion in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. His exceptional collegiate career led to his selection in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, launching a professional career that included the NFL, CFL, and international football.
Antoine Hood
Executive Leader | Leadership Development | Resilience
Antoine Hood is a former U.S. Air Force Captain, U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, professional basketball player, entrepreneur, and cancer survivor whose life reflects resilience, leadership, and service. As an Executive Leader at NextRep, Antoine leads initiatives focused on leadership development, resilience, veteran and athlete transition, and workforce readiness. Drawing from his military and athletic experience, he equips individuals and organizations with practical strategies to lead through adversity, build purpose-driven cultures, and achieve lasting success. He equips coaches with the tools, behavioral insights, and leadership strategies to better understand their athletes, strengthen communication, build trust, and create high-performing cultures where individuals and teams thrive.
Antoine is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science while becoming one of the most accomplished basketball players in Academy history. A former U.S. Air Force Captain, professional basketball player, and leadership mentor, he brings firsthand experience in high-performance leadership, resilience, military service, and navigating transition beyond elite athletics. His unique perspective bridges sports, service, and business, inspiring others to lead with purpose and perform under pressure.
Zach Lutz
Executive Leader | Player Development | Coaching
Zach Lutz is a former Major League Baseball player, entrepreneur, and founder of LutzGo, where he has dedicated his career to developing athletes beyond the game. As an Executive Leader at NextRep, Zach helps equip executives, coaches, and athletes with practical tools to strengthen leadership, develop high-performing teams, and prepare for successful transitions. His work emphasizes mentorship, player development, coaching excellence, and creating environments where people can thrive long after their playing careers end.
Zach attended Alvernia University, where he became one of the most decorated Division III baseball players in the nation, earning National Player of the Year honors and multiple All-American selections. Drafted by the New York Mets in the fifth round of the 2007 MLB Draft, Zach went on to play professionally in Major League Baseball and internationally in Japan and South Korea. Today, he brings firsthand experience in elite performance, resilience, leadership, and navigating life beyond professional sports.
Paul Ashby
Federal Government | Aerospace | Artificial Intelligence
U.S. Army veteran Paul Ashby brings extensive executive leadership experience across Federal Government, Aerospace, Defense, Intelligence, National Security, and Artificial Intelligence. He helps individuals translate leadership, discipline, and mission-focused experience into opportunities across government and emerging technology sectors while providing expertise in workforce strategy, national security, and mission-critical industries. Paul provides practical AI education that empowers individuals and organizations with the knowledge and confidence to understand, evaluate, and responsibly use Artificial Intelligence, equipping leaders and teams with the education needed to thrive in an AI-driven future.
Paul holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration (MHA). He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with extensive leadership experience spanning the U.S. Army, federal government, aerospace, defense, intelligence, and national security, where he has led complex programs and workforce transformation initiatives.
Alex Forti

U.S. Air Force veteran Alex Forti specializes in Federal Government, Strategy, and Cybersecurity. His expertise includes strategic planning, cybersecurity, mission readiness, government operations, and helping professionals navigate careers supporting national security, critical infrastructure, and federal innovation. Alex equips individuals and organizations with the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in today's rapidly evolving workforce, focusing on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), business strategy, and government contracting.
